Tegner Museum is located in Northern Zealand. The original museum is design by Rudolph Tegners himself and both his wife's and his body was buried near the site. The museum extension aims to provide more information of the artist's life and artwork without overpowering the main concrete building that contain most of his large scale sculptures. With the extension hidden mostly underground, it plays with natural lighting contrasting the original museum and it's transparency appreciating the nature surroundings and providing an view to the outdoor statue park.
